Hello Friends of Sydney’s Green Garden
It’s pickling time. Family and friends anticipate this time of year because we at SGG love to pickle cucumbers and peppers. Even the kids enjoy the pickles – well, maybe not the peppers so much.
You cannot believe the large quantities of produce the SGG container garden has yielded this summer. Beans, peas, lettuces, spinaches have given us great veggies. Our basil, dill, and cilantro have enjoyed a happy growing season as well. However, the squirrels are helping themselves to our potatoes – so, we better start digging soon!
