Hello Friends of Sydney’s Green Garden
Cool weather crops are doing well this summer – hybrid lettuces (Parris Island) are still producing whereas Black-seeded Simpson bolted a few weeks ago. Spinaches are finished and a second crop will be planted the third week in August. Peas are in full swing and beans are coming soon. Carrots and squashes are coming along nicely. Potatoes should be ready for harvest mid-September.
