Hello Friends of Sydney’s Green Garden
It’s been a plentiful container gardening season! Here at Sydney’s Green Garden we still have some carrots, kale, and Swiss chard growing in containers. We’re nearing the end of the growing season though, so if you have these plants growing you may want to harvest them soon. The same goes for your potatoes – soon the frost will freeze the soil, especially in containers.
Keep track of the seed varieties that grew healthy plants and produced a high yield of vegetables – this makes it easier to choose seed varieties next spring.
Now that most of your containers are resting for the winter, take time to enjoy what is left of your harvest and dream of next year’s container gardens.
