A multipurpose pea, Sydney’s Green Garden tender and tasty, Dwarf Grey Sugar is delicious in salads and the bi-colored shoots make an attractive edible garnish.  Snow pea pods are small at about 2 ½ inches long; immature pods can be used as a snow pea or allowed to fill out for snap peas, and when allowed to dry on the plant seeds may be used for soups.

Description

Plant seeds 1/2 to 1 inch deep and 1 ½ inches apart.  This sugar pea vine can grow to 3 feet tall; to help prevent rotting, keep plants off the ground with staking.  Sydney’s Green Garden Dwarf Grey Sugar pea is perfect for wet and cool climates and ideal for container gardening.  Early harvests are more bountiful than in midsummer.  Matures 66 days
