Hello Friends of Sydney’s Green Garden,
The containers are planted at MIDI Restaurant, located at Fitger’s on the Lake. Soon you’ll be able to order items from the menu that are picked fresh from the garden! It always tastes so much better when it’s fresh, don’t you agree? While you’re out walking Duluth’s Lakewalk eating your Bridgeman’s ice cream, be sure to stop by and check out the garden – if you see Scott out tending the plants, stop and say hi. He’ll be happy to answer your questions.
Most seeds and plants can be planted now – just be sure to watch the weather for frost so you can cover your containers if need be.
Seeds and container gardening kits are still available at Mount Royal grocery store, Engwalls in Hermantown, and at The Bookstore at Fitger’s. We also have our online store up and running. Be sure to contact us if you have any questions: grow@sydneysgreengarden.com
