Versatile homemade sausage with a kick.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 bulb garlic
- 3-5 hot peppers (serrano or jalapeno)
- 1 red onion
- 1 Tbsp fennel seed
- 1 Tbsp fresh thyme
- 1 Tbsp fresh basil
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- salt and pepper

Instructions
- Grind vegetables together with a meat grinder or pulse in a food processor.
- Mix all together. Form patties, cook as is, or use as stuffing in mushrooms or peppers.
